Here’s some common sense liberals seem to have forgotten: if you break the law, you’re asking for trouble. And if you resist arrest, you’re asking for more.
According to reports, officers in Lorain, Ohio are being accused of police brutality after footage has been released showing a rough altercation with an African American suspect who was resisting arrest.
The video was filmed in Fall of 2014, when 32-year-old Pele Smith was being arrested for tampering with evidence. The clip shows police slamming his head into the windshield of their cruiser in an attempt to get him to comply with his orders. Apparently, the slammed him so hard that the glass actually shattered.
Smith was charged with resisting arrest, and ended up pleading guilty to all charges before receiving probation. Last month, he filed a civil rights lawsuit against the city of Lorain and several officers, seeking damages.
