Two parents were arrested on a charge of child neglect after allegedly leaving their child home alone to dress up as clowns and terrorize neighbors, according to police in Wisconsin.
Menasha police said that they have arrested the 29-year-old father and the 26-year-old mother, who were not identified, after officers located them on the street while they were dressed as clowns.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded in the early morning hours on Friday.
The parents and another 20-year-old man who was not identified, were seen dressed as clowns and chasing people on Appleton Road.
The 4-year-old child was left home alone for several hours.
