On Wednesday, US District Judge Maryellen Noreika decided to formally dismiss a firearms allegation against Hunter Biden after a new indictment replaced his failed plea offer.
Hunter Biden’s beautiful plea offer fell through in July after Judge Maryellen Noreika noticed Hunter’s lawyers were trying to con her.
Hunter was only charged with two misdemeanors connected to tax evasion and would have avoided prison time if he had been charged with a felony weapons offense.
Prosecutors were gentle with Hunter, treating the gun accusation as a “diversion case.”
Hunter’s blanket immunity was snuck into the pre-trial diversion arrangement so the judge couldn’t approve – or reject – the blanket immunity element of the deal.
The judge, however, smelt a rat and threw out the entire plea arrangement!
Hunter Biden was indicted on federal firearms charges this month. In a Delaware court, he was charged with three counts for possessing a handgun while under the influence of drugs.
Earlier this month, Hunter pled not guilty to all three allegations.
Prosecutors requested Judge Maryellen Noreika to dismiss the old firearms charge, and she agreed.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A gun count that had been part of a collapsed plea deal in the Hunter Biden case was dismissed Wednesday as a judge signed off on a prosecution request.
The order from U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika formally removes a gun-possession charge that has now been replaced by an unrelated three-count indictment filed after the agreement imploded in July.
Hunter Biden’s legal troubles do not end with the gun-related accusations he faced last month. Weiss earlier dropped Hunter’s tax-related charges in Delaware and stated that the allegations would be prosecuted in either California or DC.
It appears that now with all the news of war, Hunter Biden’s misdeeds can be buried.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons for the war.
