One of the things that you need to realize about Andrew Cuomo is that he is not the shining angel that everyone makes him out to be. In reality, he is one of the most corrupt politicians out there.
When it all comes down to it, he is as power-hungry as everyone else in his family is. It is sad how many lives he has on his hands as a result of the way he bungled his covid response.
Just take a look at what has happened with the nursing homes and long term care facilities in his state. It is a complete and total mess.
That being said, you would think that if you had the chance to try and get it right, you wouldn’t go out of your way to help criminals first.
Does NY Gov Andrew Cuomo want old people to die? I think that has become a question we all need an answer to.
By sending Covid-19 patients into nursing homes to thin the herds, he has gotten vaccines into his state.
So, frontline workers and the elderly should go first, right?
I suppose he decided on drug addicts because they are a vital part of the Democratic base.
In their drug-addled minds, they will follow anyone who promises them a bowl pack in every pipe and free needles for all. But Democrats don’t care if they OD and die because they will still vote for Democrats in perpetuity.
The report said:
“During a virtual news conference in Albany, Cuomo said the state was expecting to receive a combined 259,000 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines. In addition to urgent care center employees and ‘individuals who are administering the COVID-19 vaccines, for obvious reasons,’ Cuomo said that shots would be given to residents of ‘OASAS’ — the state Office of Addiction Services and Supports.”
“These are congregate facilities. Congregate facilities are problematic. That’s where you have a lot of people in concentration. Nursing homes are obviously the most problematic because they’re congregate plus older, vulnerable people. OASAS facilities, what we call the O facilities, they’re congregate — not necessarily older — but congregate facilities.”
The New York Association of Substance Abuse Providers lobbied for addicts in rehab facilities to get vaccinated.
“We were overlooked initially. We got the governor’s office’s attention and Gov. Cuomo acted appropriately.”
Drug addicts contribute greatly unlike the old folks in the nursing homes who fought in WWII and helped make this the greatest nation on Earth. But what have they done for us lately?
