Elon Musk Just Had A Brilliant Solution To A Threat To Remove Twitter From…

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, stated on Friday that if Apple and Google decide to remove Twitter from their app stores, which would be extremely detrimental to the social media firm, he will begin to produce his own smartphones.

With a statement, “If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone.” Musk responded to political commentator Liz Wheeler’s tweet.

“Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?” she said.

“I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone,” Musk who acquired Twitter Company wrote in response.

As they deemed the police content to be “hate speech,” Musk’s statement comes amid pressure from advertisers and left-wing activists.

By saying that the company had cracked down on hate speech, Musk responded to the pressure campaign just this week.

“Hate speech impressions down by 1/3 from pre-spike levels. Congrats to Twitter team!”  Musk tweeted.

“I have half a mind to wag my finger at the 1500 accounts that caused the spike, but I shall forebear. Reducing the max allowed tweets/day to a number below what a speed typist on meth could do was helpful,” the world’s richest man added.

After that, Musk responded to a query regarding his definition of hate speech from DailyWire+ host Jordan Peterson. Musk responded, “This is simply based on the same list of terms that Twitter has used for some time, so ceteris paribus.”

A mass amnesty for accounts that had previously been banned from the platform was another announcement made by Musk on Thursday.

Next week, the platform will start mass-unbanning accounts, with the exception of those who broke the law or sent out a lot of spam, in response to the final results of a poll he tweeted on  Wednesday, Musk made the decision.

The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of amnesty; nearly three-quarters of voters, 72.4%, voted “yes,” while only 27.6% voted “no,” as the poll received over three million votes.

And after the poll concluded, Musk wrote, “The people have spoken. Amnesty begins next week. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”

Musk gave the impression that the platform will actually considerably scale back content control in order to target unlawful content and improve transparency, prior to the poll’s conclusion.
