Kirsters Baish | It’s pretty refreshing for American patriots to hear the latest news on NFL ticket sales. Following a string of anthem protests from NFL players, the NFL organization has received some devastating news, but I can’t say I’m surprised. NFL ticket sales are plummeting at an incredible rate.

One of the biggest names in football broadcasters has just announced that it would be breaking its own policy in order to appease angry NFL fans. DirecTV stated that they would be refunding all fans who inquired about the offer to cancel their sports packages. That wasn’t the end of it, however.

Recent ticket sales numbers are in, and the NFL seems to be in deep trouble. Fans have made it clear that they will not be sitting back and simply allowing these athletes to rake in the money while they disrespect the very country that gave them such opportunities. We are hitting them where it hurts the most, their pockets.

The Washington Examiner released a report that stated that professional football ticket sales have dropped almost 20 percent this week compared to last week’s.

The information in the article was based on data taken from a major online ticket reseller, TickPick. The retail site stated that there was exactly a 17.9 percent drop from last week to this week.

TickPick representative Jack Slingland spoke of the matter, stating “We have seen a massive decrease in NFL ticket purchases this past week in comparison to years past. Week 3 seems to usually have less ticket orders than week 2, but this year ticket purchases are down more than 7 percent from this time last year.”

The NFL normally takes in such a huge revenue every year, a drastic drop of 17.9 percent in ticket sales could potentially be devastating for the organization. They stand to lose billions of dollars. While the ticket sales experts won’t come out and specifically point fingers to NFL anthem protesters for the ticket sales drop, I think we all know why sales are down.

Slingland explained to The Washington Examiner, “[T]he conversation around the NFL this week has focused on the president’s comments as well as the players’ and owners’ reaction. As viewers continue to abandon their NFL Sunday habits, both the number of ticket sales and the purchase price of tickets will drop.”

If you take into account just how angry the American people are at ungrateful NFL players, Slingland most likely would have gotten away with blatantly telling the truth if he had chosen to. Americans are sick and tired of entitled athletes making millions playing a game, while our men and women die overseas. And these guys can’t even stand and salute these men and women?

It’s insane. They continue to spread hatred about President Trump, while true patriots are sick and tired of the finger pointing. It’s ridiculous that these NFL players really thought Americans were going to sit by and allow them to disrespect the men and women who fight for our country, our flag, along with the entire United States of America. Middle class America is sick of being blamed for everything. The only race war in our country has been started by the Left, controlled by the Left, and shoved down our throats by the Left. It’s time to end it.

Americans have had enough of the drama and the protesting. If the NFL doesn’t seem to understand that their actions are going to lose them billions of dollars, we will just have to let them see for themselves.
