One Lib Reporter Tried To Praise Biden For Afghanistan, This Veteran RIPPED HIM APART!

Mat Zeller has made his mark as a former CIA officer and U.S. Army ranger who had served as an embedded combat adviser who worked with Afghan Security Forces. He recently mocked MSNBC host Brian Williams to his face on Monday because he praised Joe Biden’s speech on Afghanistan.

What Happened?

Before he talked to Zeller – also a former Democratic candidate for the U.S. Congress who even admitted that he himself had voted for Biden – Williams commended Biden and claimed that he had “owned his decision” and he “didn’t run from it.”

Zeller vehemently disagreed.

“I hope he gets to own [Afghans’] deaths, too,” Zeller retorted. “I feel like I watched a different speech than the rest of you guys. I was appalled.”

“There was such a profound bald-faced lie in that speech — the idea that we planned for every contingency? I have been personally trying to tell this administration since it took office, I’ve been trying to tell our government for years that this was coming,” Zeller continued. “We sent them plan after plan on how to evacuate these people. Nobody listened to us. They didn’t plan for the evacuation of our Afghan wartime allies; they’re trying to conduct it now at the 11th hour.”

Zeller continued, lambasting Biden:

“The thing that the Biden team was most concerned about was the options of a chaotic evacuation. Well, they ended up getting exactly what they were most concerned with by failing what was right when they could have really made a difference. We had all of the infrastructure, the equipment, and the people in place to be able to save these people months ago. We did nothing, and I’m appalled that Biden thinks that we only need to take 2,000 people. There’s over 80,000 people who are still left behind in Afghanistan alone. We’ve identified all of them for the government. I really have no idea why he claims that people don’t want to leave Afghanistan. I have a list of at least 14,000 names that want to get out of Afghanistan.”

Zeller continued:

“And the idea that Biden is putting out that the Afghan military should be blamed for this? Do you have any idea how many casualties the Afghan military has taken in an average year? I’ll tell you, it was more than what the United States military took in 20. Consider the fact that they were not getting paid on a regular basis, they were not getting fuel and no one supplying you with ammo and yet you are still showing up to fight? How dare we, as Americans, for blaming these people for not being able to survive a Taliban onslaught!”

And here is Zeller’s pièce de ré·sis·tance:

“No, no, no. The thing we need to be doing right now – and one of the main things that I am appalled that the president didn’t say – was that we need to be talking about how we’re going to be getting every single one of these people out!”

Why is Zeller so adamant that American forces have integrity when it comes to Afghanistan? Well, part of it is personal for Mr. Zeller. His Afghani interpreter actually saved his life in the middle of combat way back in 2006!

What is Zeller going to do if the Biden Administration chooses to abandon the Afghani people? Zeller’s answer was short, sweet, and to the point: “I’ll never forgive my country for doing this,” Zeller said flatly. Yet another individual who has been turned off from liberalism.
