The Push To REMOVE Fauci Has Begun!

A GOP-led campaign to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci has emerged as a visible indication of Republicans’ dissatisfaction with the Biden administration’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fauci served as a White House advisor on COVID-19 under President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Republican Rep. Warren Davidson of Ohio has introduced the Fauci’s Incompetence Requires Early Dismissal Act, which is primarily symbolic.

The FIRED Act will be enforced on Wednesday.

The bill, which has a slim chance of passing in the Democrat-controlled House, will place a 12-year term limit on Fauci’s position, which he has held since 1984, essentially forcing his retirement.

Davidson said in a statement, according to Fox News, “Few people have earned their termination more visibly.”
“His excessively long tenure is emblematic of Eisenhower’s farewell address caution against scientific-technical elite steering the country for their own ends — at odds with truth and the national interest,” Davidson stated.

Representatives from the Republican Party The bill’s co-sponsors include Texas’ Chip Roy, Arizona’s Andy Biggs, and South Carolina’s Ralph Norman.

It’s been suggested before that Fauci be booted. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a Republican, introduced the “Fire Fauci Act” last month, which would reduce Fauci’s salary to zero.

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, a Republican, explained why he voted for the bill in a post on Facebook.

“The fact that Fauci was ever paid with tax-payer money is an embarrassment to the United States of America. We should #FireFauci,” he wrote.

“The bill also directs the Government Accounting Office (GAO) to conduct an audit of the policy memos and correspondence within the NIAID. The audit will allow us to see what they knew about COVID-19, when they knew it, and how they responded internally to the disease.”

Fauci should have been fired by former President Donald Trump, according to Massie, because of his contradictory and unreliable advice to Trump.

Massie told the Cincinnati Enquirer in April, “Trump should have fired Dr. Fauci when Trump had the chance.”

He stated, “I believe that Trump did a lot of great things for the country, but this is one of his mistakes, letting Dr. Fauci provide the imprimatur of science to all of the governors and encouraging all of them to kill our economy.

Republicans are wondering whether the Biden administration’s mantra of “following the science” is just public relations.
Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, a Republican, recently raked Director Rochelle Walensky of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a Biden appointee, over the coals.

According to Fox News, Collins said to Walensky, “I used to have the utmost respect for the guidance from the CDC. I always considered the CDC to be the gold standard. I don’t anymore,” “[T]he conflicting, confusing guidance from your agency has undermined public confidence and contradicts the scientific guidance of many experts.”
