The Johnny Depp/ Amber Heard trial wrapped up on Wednesday after weeks of testimony and hilarious TikTok videos.

After all, was said and done, Depp came out the victor. Yes, the jury did say they BOTH defamed one another, but they awarded Johnny the most, money and thus he wins.

In fact, Johnny got a lot more money than Amber so it is a clear win for team Depp.

 

A Virginia jury ruled on Wednesday that actor Amber Heard defamed her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp, when she wrote a 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse,” The Associated Press reports. The jury also found that Heard had been defamed by one of Depp’s lawyers when he called her abuse allegations a hoax. Depp was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million dollars in punitive damages with Heard receiving $2 million in compensatory damages and no money for punitive damages, according to CNN.

However, if anyone thought that Amber would sulk off quietly they would be wrong.

Just moments after the verdict was given, Amber released a statement that stunned trial experts.

According to these legal experts, Amber “defamed” Depp all over again, in the statement, and he could actually sue her for it, again.

The legal analysts just said they can’t believe Heard actually released this statement and say it’s almost as defamatory as the Washington Post article.

Now, many people are calling Amber a narcissist, and maybe she is, but from where I am sitting, I see someone who bought the whole “believe all women” and thought she would win.

Amber is stunned that it didn’t work for her as it did for so many others in the third-wave feminist movement.

Amber has to keep playing the victim if she has any hopes of ever working in Hollywood again, although I can’t imagine she has a lot of options left after this.

This just goes to show how dangerous and vindictive that #MeToo movement could be when it was used as a weapon by unscrupulous people.

Amber’s the Jussie Smollett of white actors. She wanted to up her value and cash in on the #MeToo stuff.
