What Gary Sinise did to this wounded warrior’s home was so great that it just might move you to tears. He is a true patriot.

That’s right. It looks like Forrest Gump star Gary Sinise is now at it again with his tremendous support of our troops. This time he is assisting a former Green Beret and his household. Sergeant First Class Caleb Maker has always been the real deal, and he is a classic example of a man getting back on his feet, regardless of a fall.

Maker was employed with the U.S. Army Reserves in 2005 and signed with the Green Berets in 2012. He was ultimately deployed to Afghanistan in 2015, and that was when his group was carrying out a cleaning operation and an improvised explosive device detonated below him. Maker experienced bilateral leg amputation, an embolism, infections, and a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Maker is now 31 years old, and he is back at home in Tucson with his household and he counts on his prosthetic legs, which enables him to browse in stores, stroll, run, and even rock climb. This is when Gary Sinise found out about Maker’s bravery and chose to assist him by acquiring the funds to build this wounded warrior that would help him navigate his house more effectively.

Maker and his household were authorized for a brand-new clever house in Tucson, which was totally equipped with unique adjustments to help maker in all of his endeavors. This house was finished on February 6, 2019 and has a multitude of smartphone controlled functions. This would include a wheelchair-slanted mirror and pocket doors so that Maker can effectively circumnavigate his house.

Three cheers to “Lt. Dan” for helping this wounded warrior get a house that would help him with all of his special needs.

What Gary Sinise did is a true example of just how instrumental he has been in helping our American troops!
