A Stranger Ran Up And Kissed Him, Then He Looked Down And…

Twenty-five-year-old Frederik de Vreese was just an ordinary tourist visiting Bangkok, Thailand, when he encountered a beautiful Thai woman who caught him off guard. The woman offered him a kiss, as well as other intimate services. Unaccustomed to such forward propositions, de Vreese failed to notice the woman silently stealing his gold chain.

Fortunately, de Vreese had been recording a video of himself while walking along the bustling Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. As a result, the entire encounter, including the theft, was captured on film.

In the video, the attractive Thai woman wraps her arms around de Vreese’s neck, whispering seductive promises. “Where you go, honey? I go to your room. I go f*** you,” she can be heard saying.

However, de Vreese, a tourist from Ghent, Belgium, was not interested in the woman’s offer. He politely declined and continued on his way, only to later realize that his cherished gold chain was missing.

It was not until he reviewed the video that he discovered the woman had taken his gold chain within just ten seconds of meeting him. By that time, it was impossible for him to locate her and demand the return of his stolen possession.

Despite this setback, de Vreese reported the theft to the Thai police. The gold chain, which had been in his family for many years, held great sentimental value for him. “The chain belonged to my grandfather. It was worth around 800 euros (£675). I’m devastated,” he said.

The police have since initiated an investigation to locate de Vreese’s missing gold chain. He believes the thief may have been part of a criminal gang, noting her distinctive tattoo as a potential clue to her identity.

De Vreese’s misfortune occurred along Sukhumvit Road, a well-known area in Bangkok famous for its vibrant nightlife. Tourists flock to the street’s high-rise hotels, shopping malls, and lively bars in Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza.

When questioned by the Thai police, de Vreese clarified that he had no prior connection to the woman who stole his gold chain. The authorities are now on the lookout for the perpetrator and plan to charge her with “stealing by stealth at night” if apprehended. In Thailand, crimes committed during nighttime hours are considered more severe than those committed during daylight.

A spokesperson for the Bangkok police said, “Officers at Lumphini Police Station are now checking CCTV cameras at the scene to speed up the identification of the perpetrators to prosecute them as soon as possible.” Meanwhile, de Vreese anxiously awaits the outcome of the investigation, hoping for the return of his cherished family heirloom.
