BREAKING: Another SINGER From “THE VOICE” Has Been Shot DEAD And There Is NO SUSPECT…

Source| In yet another horrific turn of events, a second singing contestant from The Voice has been murdered. This time in Chicago. Alejandro Fuentes, a 45 year-old singer who competed on the Mexican version of The Voice in 2011, was ambushed in Chicago and shot three times in the head. He was killed the day after singer Christina Grimmie’s funeral. She was killed by a man in Orlando, Florida just over a week ago… he then killed himself. Both singers were shot three times up close and personal. Fuentes died later Saturday at the hospital and his friends held a vigil for him last night.

From The Guardian:

A Chicago singer who appeared on the Mexican version of The Voice in 2011 has died after he was shot in an ambush while celebrating his birthday with friends.

The Cook county medical examiner’s office confirmed that 45-year-old Alejandro “Jano” Fuentes died on Saturday. He was shot three times in the head late on Thursday outside his Tras Bambalinas School on Chicago’s south-west side.

He died on Saturday, the day after the funeral of Christina Grimmie, who appeared on the US version of the show. A man fatally shot Grimmie a week earlier while she was signing autographs after a performance in Orlando, Florida. The attacker then killed himself.

Fuentes was widely loved and admired. His friends cannot understand why anyone would want to kill him. The police have no suspects and they believe this was a botched carjacking or a robbery gone wrong. I’m not so sure. No one else was hurt and the timing is very suspicious… what are the odds that two of The Voice singers would be murdered a week apart? I suppose it’s possible… Chicago is a violent sewer, but this stretches credibility to new limits. There are a lot of unanswered questions on all this. Another world class talent was lost and by all accounts, a truly good person. It’s heartbreaking.
