Everyone Thought RadioShack Was Dead And Buried, Then Something Strange Happened…

RadioShack, a 100 years old former electronics retail giant is getting unexpected attention online after the bankrupt electronics retailer have been posting some uncommon points.

RadioShack is a giant American retailer which sells digital gear, like radios, TV cables, headphones, charges and batteries. There are about 400 RadioShack retail locations in the United States, down from about 5,200 in 2014. Naturally, it has also entered the world of crypto currencies. The company’s crypto currency trading platform, RadioShack Swap, enables customers to trade one coin or token for another.

The corporation has its own crypto currency called $RADIO, but at its peak in 90’s, RadioShack (RSH) is preparing to hit dead air, there’s a long rundown of problems that led to its point. The business operated an excessive number of outlets, which ate into each other’s profits and caused losses. When the majority of electronics sales migrated online and RadioShack was limited to brick-and-mortar stores, the shop was unable to adapt and lose relevance.

The company has lost 98% of its share value since 2000.

In May 2015, the company’s assets, including the RadioShack brand name and associated intellectual property, were purchased by General Wireless Inc., an affiliate of Standard General, for US$26.2 million. General Wireless Operations Inc. was established to manage the RadioShack stores, and General Wireless IP Holdings LLC was established to manage the intellectual property.

So, all people were in disbelief when the retailer began sharing some obscene tweets. Was RadioShack hacked?

When a few odd things started being posted on RadioShack’s official Twitter account, which has 262,000 followers, Twitter users were seriously perplexed.

The majority of the tweets have already been deleted, but some of them contained crude remarks about s*x, drugs, and other prohibited subjects.

After the raunchy tweets went viral, many users think that the retailer might want to have been hacked.

However, a post appeared revealing that the company wasn’t actually hacked in any case.

“Shack intern here. I wanted to take a sec to reflect on my post. Ik your expecting me to say, in my wildest dreams I never thought that tweet would go viral and to apologize,” it talked about.

“But i did because ik that s**t was fire af. No we didnt get hacked, and no im not fired. Buckle up b***h,” the tweeted continued.

The bizarre tweets have been an attempt by RadioShack to enchantment to a youthful, further edgy viewer because it’s now a cryptocurrency.

In an interview with input magazine, Chief marketing officer at RadioShack, Bel Czupor, provided more detailed explanation, “You really have to make an impression in order to basically get known with youngsters, right now, we’re still kind of figuring the voice out.” He said.
