As communities across the nation continue to be fraught with tension between members of law enforcement and the residents they serve, a number of them have taken steps to heal the divide, while also making it clear that they stand behind the men and women in blue. According to Mad World News, that includes the town of Findlay, OH, which found an innovative way to show some support for law enforcement.

The town has painted a thin blue line on one of the main roads in town. It’s painted directly between the familiar solid yellow lines already present on the roadway, and it’s noted for its placement outside of the town’s courthouse. As Ohio Going Blue, a group that provides support to law enforcement, points out, the message is pretty clear: “We back the blue.”
