Another Democrat has been imprisoned for child sex offenses.
Dennis Doyle is a three-term former mayor of Beaverton, Oregon, a Portland suburb.
In addition, he is a convicted child sex offender.

On Tuesday, he was sentenced to six months in federal prison for possessing child pornography.
Doyle was also ordered to pay his victims $22,000 in restitution.
According to Resist the Mainstream, when FBI agents approached Doyle in early 2022, he openly admitted to possessing child pornography between 2014 and 2015.
Last October, he pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.
Doyle’s flash drive, which contained personal photos as well as child pornography, was discovered by a local business.
Fortunately, this was turned over to local authorities.
Beaverton cops then contacted the FBI.

There were several images of children under the age of 12 on the flash drive.
According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the victims were sexually exploited minors.

According to the US Attorney’s Office, Doyle will be released from prison after five years of supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

The judge’s lenient ruling drew criticism because the maximum sentence could have been 20 years in prison with life supervision.
According to KPTV News, Doyle was not even taken into custody following the verdict and was instead allowed to make his own arrangements for a future date.
But should we be surprised?
Once again, a “trusted” Democrat is slapped on the wrist.
