Geoffrey Berman, U.S. Attorney for the Manhattan district, publicly confirmed on Monday that the Federal Bureau of Instigation is getting “zero cooperation” from Britain’s Prince Andrew on the Jeffrey Epstein case.
At an event to raise awareness for New York State’s Child Victims Act, sponsored by advocate group Safe Horizon, Berman slammed the Duke of York for going back on his word. Noblemen aren’t supposed to behave that way. They aren’t supposed to play with underage girls either.
The younger son of Queen Elizabeth promised last month in writing that he “would cooperate fully with authorities,” but he won’t return their calls. Not the kind of behavior you expect from someone in line for the throne, even if it is only eighth place. According to Berman, both prosecutors and the bureau have “repeatedly contacted Prince Andrew’s attorneys to follow up on his previous pledge to help.” To date, Prince Andrew has “provided zero cooperation.”
He’s been photographed with his arm around child victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre with Epstein’s chief of staff, Ghislaine Maxwell lurking in the background. Maxwell is allegedly the ringleader of Epstein’s sexual circus, in charge of recruiting and training the girls.
Last year, Andrew abandoned his royal duties in disgrace after “renewed attention” to his buddy-buddy relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and his harem of teenage sex slaves. Giuffre says she “had several sexual encounters with the prince starting when she was 17.” She remembered at least three encounters including once in London at Ghislaine Maxwell’s home in 2001. Flight logs for the Lolita Express, Epstein’s private jet, confirm Prince Andrew paid at least one visit to Epstein’s not so Virgin Island on Little St. James, also known as orgy island.
Of course, everybody denies everything. Andrew says he had no idea that all those little girls running around with Epstein could possibly be underage. On the record, “Andrew and Maxwell have both denied any knowledge that Epstein was sexually abusing teenage girls.” Andrew says, according to his calendar he was eating pizza with his children. Hmm, haven’t we heard something about Epstein, pizza, and children before?
Last month, Berman told Reuters that the FBI is investigating Maxwell and others. On Monday, he didn’t want to go into details of the ongoing investigation beyond mentioning that Andrew wasn’t sticking to his publicly made promises. He did assure those assembled though that “the case didn’t end” with Epstein’s death.
Even our Attorney General says Epstein didn’t hang himself, at least, not without help. “Jeffrey Epstein couldn’t have done what he did without the assistance of others, and I can assure you that the investigation is moving forward.”
