SANDERS SUPPORTERS JUST ANNOUNCED THEY ARE LEAVING BERNIE FOR DONALD TRUMP
Trump’s campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said she has been getting messages from Sen. Bernie Sanders’ camp. She says that Sander’s supporters have told her that if Trump wins the nomination, then they will come over to his side.
Pierson made this comment in response to her belief that Trump is the only candidate that could defeat Hillary Clinton in the election.
“I’ve got Sanders people sending me messages – it’s surreal – saying that if they steal the nomination from Bernie, they’re voting for Trump. So he is definitely the only candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton in the fall.”
Pierson also talked about Ted Cruz and mentioned the fact that he just wasn’t strong anywhere where Republicans needed.
Pierson says that Cruz hasn’t won a single state that would change things. She talks about how Trump won Florida, he is going to win New York and he is doing really well in other states where Ted Cruz is in third place.
In the interview with Breitbart, Pierson also mentioned Donald Trump’s ability to bring in new voters and she claims that in the general election they will bring in even more voters from both the Independent and Democrat side.
