SHOCKING: Ray Lewis’ Son Charged With Sexual Assault

Ray Lewis’ son, Ray Lewis, III, has been charged with sexually assaulting two women in Conway, South Carolina.

According to WMBF News, Coastal Carolina cornerback Ray Lewis, III, the son of the Baltimore Ravens’ all-time great inside linebacker, turned himself in on Friday from an incident involving the sexual assault of two college-aged women in Conway, South Carolina.

Lewis “has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct after two victims told the police he sexually assaulted them.”

The charges stem from an incident off Coastal Carolina campus on January 23rd, when a Conway police officer responded to a local hospital, with the two victims saying they were sexually assaulted at an apartment complex.

Lewis had an arrest warrant out, alleging that he committed sexual assault on an 18-year woman who was incapacitated from the effects of drugs and alcohol. Lewis did willingly turn himself in on Friday after news of the warrant came out.

He will have three lawyers representing him, including his father’s attorney Ed Garland out of Atlanta that represented the Ravens star back in 2001 during the Ray Lewis Murder Trials.

The lead attorney on Lewis’ case Case Brittain stated, “Ray Lewis III is innocent of all charged and we expect him to be fully vindicated at the end of this matter.”

Coastal Carolina University has suspended the sophomore cornerback indefinitely. This is the second school Lewis has been at since he committed to his father’s alma mater at the University of Miami in 2014. Lewis played in 12 games during the 2015 NCAA football season.

Given who his father is and all that comes along with being Lewis’ son, this could potentially be a high-profile case especially with the charges that the younger Lewis faces. With the severity of the charges, it is understandable that he has already brought three lawyers to his defense.
