Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County in Arizona has made a name for himself as a controversial supporter of stricter border enforcement and a strong Trump supporter. Liberals have accused Arpaio of deliberately profiling Hispanics in his county.
Now, it’s been announced that the sheriff will be in charge of policing a Donald Trump rally. We’ve seen these rallies turn violent, with escalating tension between protestors and supporters.
Of course, Arpaio is not afraid.
“Here I’m going to be kinda wearing two hats—in charge of the security there in the town and also participating, I would imagine, with Trump in the rally, so it makes it interesting,” Arpaio told reporters at POLITICO.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun taking care of business there,” he concluded.
Profiling? Hmmm. Let’s see. The Latinos are the ones coming across the border, so he should stop what……..Eskimos? Sheriff Joe needs to be left alone by the government so he can do his job!
