Subway Franchise Owners Are Ready To Give The Company The Boot If They Don’t Fire One Of Their Top Spokespeople!

Subway franchise owners want purple-haired, anthem-kneeling U.S. soccer star Megan Rapinoe booted from her role as one of the restaurant’s spokespeople.

Long before the Olympics took place in Tokyo, Rapinoe signed with Subway as a spokesperson. You may have seen her in an ad for the company where she kicks a soccer ball at two men talking about ordering a burrito and then kicks a burrito out of another man’s hands. In both instances, she tells them to order a foot-long sub from Subway instead.

Franchisees are upset about the ad and so are their customers. It’s not what happens in the ad that they’re so upset about. They don’t like Rapinoe and what she stands for.

Rapinoe often pushes her political views. For example, she wants to end the gender pay gap and she wants equal rights. Then, at the Tokyo Olympics when her team won bronze, instead of standing for the national anthem, she took a knee.

In a private franchisee forum, an operator allegedly wrote, “By knowingly hiring a flashpoint personality to represent the brand with our money, the franchisor has failed.”

After America’s women’s soccer team failed to achieve the Gold medal, former President Trump attacked Rapinoe and the rest of the women with a statement mocking the Americans.

“The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spent too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job,” the former president said. Trump, who famously holds grudges against people who have rubbed him the wrong way, has not forgotten how Rapinoe refused to visit the “f**king White House” after Team USA won the World Cup.

Trump supporters across the United States have been refusing to patronize Subway restaurants because of its association with Rapinoe.

In Wisconsin, one franchise owner arrived at work to see a handwritten note posted on the front door suggesting that all people should “Boycott Subway” until they fire Rapinoe.

“Boycott Subway until Subway fires the anti-American P.O.S. Megan Rapinoe, the creep who kneels for our beloved national anthem! Take America back from the godless reprobates!”

The Wisconsin owner said: “The ad should be pulled and done with. It gets tiring apologizing.”

Subway does not actually own any of its restaurants. Instead, franchisees own all 22,000 restaurants and pay Subway 4.5% of their revenue which allows the franchisees to use the Subway name and also goes towards national advertising campaigns run by the company.
