How about a road in which the ocean threatens to swallow you whole?
The Atlanterhavsveien is the Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway, and it’s a beautiful as it is frightening. The road is part of Norway’s national road, and as you can see from the video, waves crash in to the highway fairly regularly. This two-land road — just enough for one car in each direction — cuts across the graceful ocean and the vicious waves.
And, wait until you see how high the road goes in one point. It’s like a roller coaster.
