A female engineer working on an oil rig couldn’t help but notice when her usually bare and sparsely decorated room suddenly had a new feature. What was truly worrisome, however, was when she figured out what it really was.
As CNN reports, the engineer noticed something that look like a white, plastic coat hook on the door of her room. Then, she learned that it wasn’t a hook after all—
It was a recording device.
Not knowing where that footage had gone or what it captured was upsetting enough, but even worse was the response she got from the company when she tried to get some answers about how it had ended up there in the first place.
