Fed-up passengers had to deal with nearly a four-hour delay to their holiday after a man “urinated on his brother” and had to be dragged off a plane by cops.
The incident occurred on a Jet2 flight from London to the Greek island of Crete back in May, but made the news after a TikTok video of the disruption was uploaded on TikTok Wednesday,
The passenger was reportedly so intoxicated that he could not walk to the aircraft’s washroom and urinated on his younger brother, which then escalated into a full-blown fistfight between the two that caused the flight to divert.
Alfie and Kenneth Springthorpe, from Sidcup, south-east London, were slapped with a £50,000 fine by Jet2 after a “full fist fight” erupted on the aircraft on May 3.
The pilot was forced to divert the London Stansted flight to Corfu after a mum was reportedly hit during the drunken brawl which is said to have happened mid-flight.
More details of this incident from The Sun report:
THIS is the shocking moment cops dragged a Jet2 passenger off a plane after he is said to have “urinated on his brother” and taken part in a “full fist fight”.
Alfie and Kenneth Springthorpe were issued with a £50,000 fine by the airline after the flight from London Stansted Airport to Crete, Greece, on May 3.
A shocked passenger, who wishes to remain anonymous, captured a video showing one of the brothers being carted down the aisle by a Greek police officer.
The barrel-bellied boozer from Sidcup, south-east London, is shown bent over at a 90-degree angle and is barely able to stand up.
Another officer in civilian clothes walks behind the rowdy passenger to help the other officer drag him from the aircraft.
The Jet2 pilot was forced to divert the flight to Corfu to evict the brothers from the flight after they allegedly fought with each other mid-flight.
Here’s what the airline said, according to The Sun:
“Alfie and Kenneth Springthorpe, from Sidcup, displayed a catalogue of appalling behaviour onboard the aircraft which included causing damage as well as unacceptable levels of aggression and even physical violence.”
“As a result, the highly trained crew were left with no choice other than to divert the aircraft, which was flying from London Stansted to Heraklion (Crete), to Corfu so that police could offload them.”
