It’s Not Ebola — MSM Promoting ‘Deadly Corona Virus’ Freak Out

President Trump’s impeachment isn’t going nearly as well as liberals would like, so the “mainstream” progressives had to find a way to distract the public. The way network news outlets are reporting a recent virus outbreak, you would think that we’re about to be wiped out by the Andromeda strain.

The reality is that it’s just a variation of the common cold. “Although the virus likely originated from animal-to-people contact, Chinese officials this week confirmed their first case of person-to-person contraction,” the CDC writes in a press release.

Reports are all over the news on Tuesday about how Health officials confirmed that the “deadly” Wuhan coronavirus has already spread to the United States and at least three other countries besides China. So far, six have died out of the 300 people infected.

Liberal outlet Vox lays it on exceptionally thick. “The appearance of an infected person in the US means this disease is on the cusp of becoming a pandemic, just like SARS in 2003,” they write, citing an expert. “The risk is that infected people might not get noticed at the border before they get sick, and then spread the virus to others, seeding further outbreaks. It’s unlikely but means we have to be extra vigilant.”

Oh, my God, we’re all going to die. Get ready for the first episode of “The Stand” to unfold in real life. When they say “extra vigilant” they really mean it. “Researchers who have modeled the outbreak’s potential in Hong Kong and the UK suggest there are likely many more undetected cases — from 1,300 to more than 1,700. The risk of rapid spread is heightened at the moment, as hundreds of millions start to travel this week for China’s Lunar New Year on January 25.”

Network news implies we’re about to be wiped out by the Andromeda strain.

The Los Angeles Times admits, “there are many known types of coronaviruses. Some cause the common cold.” Others, they point out, are a little worse. Still, they aren’t anywhere near the level of horror inspired by viruses like Ebola or Marburg.

“Others found in bats, camels and other animals have evolved into more severe illnesses such as SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) or MERS (Middle East respiratory Syndrome).”

The outbreak allegedly began near a seafood market in Wuhan China. Symptoms include a runny nose, headache, cough and fever. Other cold-like symptoms are chills, body aches, and most worrisome, shortness of breath.

As with any respiratory illness, this virus seems to be exceptionally hard on the elderly. All six deaths so far were people older than 60 with underlying medical conditions.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, An American citizen who recently returned from China has been diagnosed as the first U.S. case. He’s being treated in his home city of Seattle, Washington. Airports are on high alert, screening travelers arriving from China.

Case zero of the newly identified pathogen was diagnosed in the Central Chinese city of Wuhan just last month. It first spread to Beijing and Shanghai. Thanks to modern transportation, the outbreak immediately jumped to South Korea, Thailand and Japan.

The male patient is currently in isolation. He says he did travel to Washington from Wuhan but wasn’t at the market which is the epicenter of the outbreak.
