Blatant shoplifting has become such a normal phenomenon in these Democrat Cities. Fighting crime in these cities has become too much of a liability in this era of Black Lives Matter riots, George Floyd, and a Defund the Police movement.
According to the report, the crime rates in deep-blue cities, including New York City, Portland, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, and St. Louis, are soaring high. This is after a continuous effort by the Democrat establishment to slander and decapitalizes the police
As Violent Crime SURGES across America, some politicians and some in the media are gaslighting the public into thinking the Police are the Problem…

Amid the execution of bail-reform laws that keep violent offenders out of jail and legislative measures that put the burden of liability on police officers while encouraging criminals, homicides, muggings, vehicle break-ins and carjackings are flowing in blue cities across the country.
Prop 47 or “Proposition 47: The Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act” prevents police officers in San Francisco from arresting or even intervening with anyone shoplifting up to $950 of merchandise. Because of this, thieves and robbers are looting stores in broad daylight.
Proposition 47 implemented three broad changes to felony sentencing laws. First, it reclassified certain theft and drug possession offenses from felonies to misdemeanors. Second, it authorizes defendants currently serving sentences for felony offenses that would have qualified as misdemeanors under the proposition to petition courts for resentencing under the new misdemeanor provisions. Third, it authorizes defendants who have completed their sentences for felony convictions that would have qualified as misdemeanors under the proposition to apply to reclassify those convictions to misdemeanors.
Felony convictions resentenced or reclassified as misdemeanors under the proposition are considered misdemeanors for all purposes, except that such relief does not permit the person to own, possess, or have in his or her custody or control any firearm.
Convenience store chains like Walgreens and CVS are resigning to shutting down in the Democrat-run city because rampant shoplifting has now become a regular occurrence in the Golden City.
In Oxford, Connecticut, thieves were caught on camera fearlessly committing grand thievery even in the middle of the day. These thieves are walking out of a grocery store with carts filled with groceries and cleaning items. They even recklessly sped off after loading all the stolen products into vehicles with no license plates.

The Los Angeles Police Department issued an alert guiding the residents to “cooperate and comply” when getting mugged or burglarized on November 08.
The department said in a community alert on Monday:
“If you are being robbed, do not resist the robbery suspects; cooperate and comply with their demands. Be a good witness.”

This advisory from LAPD came after the Robbery-Homicide division was warned of an “ongoing crime trend of follow-home robberies” in Los Angeles and neighboring cities.
Hyperinflation and the hastily ascending cost of food will only aggravate the uptick in theft while measures that decriminalize theft are being enacted.
Nowadays, fighting crime has become too much of a responsibility, prompting our police members to leave the force in flocks. According to an internal department survey obtained by the New York Post, most NYPD cops say they wish they never joined the force in the first place.
New York Post reported on Saturday:
“Not only did 56 percent of cops say they wouldn’t put on the badge if they had to do it all over again, but a majority feel the public disrespects (46 percent agree, 42 percent disagree) and distrusts (44 to 41 percent) them.”
“A staggering 80 percent of the officers, detectives, sergeants, lieutenants and captains surveyed now fear aggressively fighting crime because of the threat of criminal liability, being sued, or being unfairly disciplined, lieutenants and captains surveyed now fear aggressively fighting crime because of the threat of criminal liability, being sued, or being unfairly disciplined.
78 percent said they don’t feel supported by the Department and 73 percent said the most effective cops fail to “receive appropriate recognition”, according to the survey of 6,000 police officers.
