A wave of Twitter punishments is being overturned by Elon Musk.
On Friday night, the Twitter owner and multibillionaire gave the order to restore nine accounts that had been suspended earlier in the week.
On Thursday, Musk posted a Twitter poll asking for opinions from the public about lifting the suspensions.

Musk continued by saying that the poll in question served as his justification for lifting the temporary restrictions, with 58.7% of users requesting that the accounts be immediately reinstated.
He tweeted, “The people have spoken. “Suspensions on accounts that doxxed my whereabouts are now lifted.”

Musk never stated that the disputed suspended accounts would face a lifelong Twitter ban.
Journalist accounts from the Washington Post and New York Times are among those that have been temporarily suspended and then restored, according to the Daily Mail.
The suspensions infuriated the mainstream media, which issued a statement from CNN threatening to reduce its use of Twitter.
The suspensions roused ire from the establishment media, with CNN releasing a statement threatening to roll back its usage of Twitter.
“Twitter’s increasing instability and volatility should be of incredible concern for everyone who uses Twitter. We have asked Twitter for an explanation, and we will reevaluate our relationship based on that response.”

Musk previously claimed that the accounts were suspended because they had posted material that “doxed,” or revealed, his precise location in real-time, in violation of Twitter’s rules of service.
The individuals seem to have shared material that @ElonJet, a suspended Twitter account that posts the real-time travel information of Musk’s private jet, had published on other sites.
The multibillionaire underlined that following the bans, journalists would be held to the same standards of behavior as other users under his administration in a discussion on Thursday on Twitter Spaces, citing Twitter’s policies against doxing.
At least one banned account from this week is still suspended; it belongs to progressive radical Keith Olbermann.
In an odd video broadcast on what appears to be his burner account, Olbermann said he had been permanently barred from Twitter.

Well, maybe these leftists will see how it feels to be banned for just sharing a differing point of view.
